Biography information:

Roger and Donna Labbe were both raised in Northern Maine where they lived their entire lives until they moved to Camp Good News in Livermore Falls. Roger is the second oldest of four children and Donna the middle child of three girls. They were married in January of 1977. Both Roger and Donna received the wonderful truth of eternal life after about 4 years of marriage under the ministry of Pastor Dick & Marie Goupille at Madawaska Gospel Church. After 10 years of marriage they adopted their son, Matthew.
Roger, a mill worker and in later years a foreman for the paper mill in Madawaska stepped out in faith with his wife and son to become the program director for Camp Good News in June 2003. With the addition of log cabins to camp, the programs would expand to winter ministries.

Their Ministry

Roger’s present day responsibilities with Child Evangelism Fellowship®of Maine at Camp Good News® are to take care of all the programs, making sure everything is running smoothly. He is also in charge of scheduling groups who are interested in renting the facility for retreats. He is also a wonderful organizer so he keeps supplies for activities up to date.
Donna is currently the secretary for the state office of Child Evangelism Fellowship® , does most of the cooking for the winter programs, takes care of her family, and enjoys being part of the ministry at Camp Good News. She also helps with donor notes and newsletters for the Labbe ministry.
We are excited to be part of what God is doing at Camp Good News. We are thankful for all our friends and supporters who make our ministry effective through prayer and financial support.

Looking Unto Jesus,
Roger, Donna, & Matt

"And let us not be weary in well doing:
for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
