Ryan serves as the State Director for CEF of Maine. He was first introduced to CEF through the ministry of Camp Good News. Ryan spent several summers there first as a camper and then as volunteer staff. Eventually, he served with Camp Good News as summer staff where he directed the teen camping program.

Ryan is also a graduate of Northland International University in Wisconsin where he obtained a B.A. in Camp Ministries and M.A. in Biblical Studies. While in school, he met and married his wife, Rachel, and together they have three children. Shortly after returning to Maine from Wisconsin, he began pastoring Lighthouse Christian Church in Phillips, Maine where he still serves as pastor today.

During this time, Ryan returned to a more formal role with CEF by serving on the Western Maine Board from May of 2020 to August 2024. In September of 2024, Ryan was appointed as the State Director for CEF of Maine. He is thankful to be able to serve in the same ministry that God has used in a profound way in his life and is excited to partner with others to reach the children of Maine with the Gospel.
